Why Coaching?

A common question that people ask when it comes to fitness and nutrition is: "Why do I need a coach to achieve my fitness and wellness goals?"

Many times this coincides with remarking about the vast amount of workouts, nutrition information, apps, and other tools and resources available on Google, Instagram, and other sources.

So, we want to be clear on our beliefs in regard to this: You don’t NEED a Coach to create results.

The knowledge is out there, you just have to be willing to put the time and effort in to find it, learn it, and apply it.

The accountability is available, you just have to be willing to ask friends or family to push you or find ways to hold yourself to a high level of accountability to put in the necessary work to get to where you want to be.

The support is available, you just have to be willing to ask friends, family, or acquaintances you know who are knowledgeable in fitness and nutrition for help and answers to questions when you need it.

The possibility is within you, you just have to be willing to push yourself to believe that you CAN do it and that achievement is possible for you.

No, you don’t need a Coach. You can take on this journey and completely transform on your own, and we know people who have done just that, and it truly is amazing!

But, we do also believe that a Fitness and Nutrition Coach can be extremely helpful in the process for any individual who wants to lose weight / body fat, build muscle, gain strength, and completely change their body composition.

Why would a coach be helpful?

Learning from a dedicated professional who has been through the process for themselves and many others is always more efficient than spending the time and energy trying to figure everything out on your own.

A Coach speeds up the time it takes to achieve your goals, saving you from wasting time testing and trying different methods and tactics.

A Coach saves you money on alternative solutions that may or may not work for you.

A Coach saves you the stress of being uncertain whether or not you’re taking the right actions to move toward where you want to be, and simplifies the process by providing a plan specific to your unique situation.

A Coach provides accountability to help you carry out that specific plan. You could have the best plan in the world right in front of you, but if you don’t put in the work, you’ll get no results. A Coach helps you consistently put in the work.

A Coach provides support when life changes and you need to adjust your plan, and answers when you have questions, so that you can continue creating positive momentum.

A Coach gives you the ability to focus on the other areas of your life - they take care of putting together the best plan for you, and you only have to put effort in to carrying it out.

A Coach can help decrease the risk of injury or complications from utilizing unsafe methods or tactics.

And sometimes, a Coach believes in you more than you believe in you. If you struggle with not believing that achieving your goals is possible, a Coach can provide the motivation, encouragement, and belief. Sometimes the most powerful thing a Coach can do is to believe and speak belief into you on the days or in the weeks when you don’t believe in you.

These are all reasons that we believe that having a Coach is so helpful in the process of improving your health and fitness.
